For unknown reasons, this functionality was removed when the game was released in the US and EU, making the game vastly more difficult in the process. *Restores the three hit-points present on the Japanese version. *Without region-lock, so it plays on a Mega Drive of any region. *'Contra: Hard Corps' version with the original characters, not the european 'Probotector' one.
